AGC to present connectivity solutions at CES 2026

Pulsaart by AGC will join AGC at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9. We will be showcasing how our connectivity technologies help improve mobile signal performance in rail and other non personal mobility environments.

CES is a key moment to demonstrate how AGC technologies support safer, more efficient and more connected mobility. This year, AGC’s Smart Connectivity portfolio highlights how vehicle glass can play an active role in enabling reliable communication across rail and fleet environments.

Enhancing Rail Connectivity with WAVETHRU™ Retrofit

At CES 2026, Pulsaart will showcase its WAVETHRU™ Retrofit solution. Modern train windows often weaken mobile signals due to insulating coatings. WAVETHRU addresses this challenge through a precise laser treatment that makes glazing transparent to 4G and 5G frequencies while preserving essential window properties such as thermal insulation, solar protection and visual comfort.

The solution is applied directly to existing windows, without removal or replacement. It is maintenance free and supports a more sustainable approach to upgrading rolling stock by extending the performance of existing assets. WAVETHRU™ Retrofit is already in use on multiple rail fleets in Europe, helping operators improve onboard connectivity for passengers and onboard systems alike.

Smart Connectivity Across AGC

Pulsaart’s technology is part of a broader AGC Smart Connectivity offering that will also be presented at CES 2026.

AGC will showcase glass integrated antennas for high speed rail that support global 4G and 5G frequency bands. These antennas transmit and receive signals directly through vehicle glass, enabling stable onboard connectivity while preserving vehicle design, aerodynamics and passenger visibility.

For fleet vehicles, AGC will also present a sticker type retrofit antenna that attaches directly to existing glazing. This solution provides reliable 4G and 5G communication without structural modifications, making it suitable for a wide range of fleet and monitoring applications.

Together, these solutions demonstrate how AGC transforms glass from a passive component into an active interface for connectivity.
